I am a Keeper of the Light spammer. This hero is one of my most favorite support heroes ♥

Ezalor, the Keeper of the Light, is a hero famous for the reputation as a one-hero support team, which is outstanding for Classis Ranked Match (Non Role Queue) where others usually want to be a core.

Supporting the allies in need with:

1) HP (Illuminate with Spirit Form to heal)
2) MP (Chakra Magic restores mana)
3) CD reduction (Chakra Magic reduces CD)
4) Spell Amplification (Solar Bind)
5) Slow (Solar Bind)
6) Pushing unguarded lanes with ease (Illuminate from far a way / in the Fog of War)

Therefore, Ezalor is a very valuable ally for any team ♥ But surely, your value is higher in some lineup that can utilize your skills (i.e. spam skills, mana thirsty, and magical burst).

K♥TL requires patience (with your teammates), confidence (to lead your team as a captain), and selfless behavior to play well (because Illuminate can be used for kill stealing but please DO NOT do that), as this hero is played as a support instead of a killer caster like most Intelligence gankers (no hard disables and very reliable on the teammates).

The set of abilities also requires good timing, reflexes, and knowledge to use well.

Pros
  • Not item dependent, can buy items for team / situational items
  • Can refill team's mana (useful with mana thirsty team)
  • Highest base movement speed (330 ms)
  • Good pusher / defender with strong wave clear (Illuminate)
  • Extreamly high cast range (with Spirit Form), you can cast items / skills from a million miles away
  • Strong teamfight presence, very annoying for enemy team
  • No micro at all

Cons
  • Fragile (low HP and armor base, so you requires good positioning)
  • Unreliable damage / heal output (depend on your position and timing)
  • Dependent on teammates (need good draft lineup and communication skills)
  • Lack of damage to towers
  • No strong CC (i.e. stun and hex)
  • Weak laner with some match up (no CC to save your core, require good draft to be effective)

Drafting Phase
Since K♥TL is usually picked in the first phase, the core player (who will go the same lane with you) might picks bad synergy. Hence, let your team knows what heroes are good when your team has K♥TL is very essential.

1) K♥TL POS 5
First-Tier Carry: TB, CK, Bloodseeker, BB, TA, Ursa, WK
Second-Tier Carry: Medusa, Razor, PL, Luna, Nage, Alchemist, Troll Warlord
Third-Tier Carry: Ember Spirit, Juggernaut

2) K♥TL POS 4
First-Tier Offlaner: CK, NS, BB, Pangolier, Sandking, LC, Mars, Tidehunter, Axe, Primal Beast, Slardar, Timbersaw

Laning Phase
1) Use Illuminate to harass opponent heroes.
2) Make sure pull camps are unblocked as lane is likely to be pushed.
3) Be creative at positioning (i.e. from the trees, unpredictable angle) to be able to hit opponents.
4) Avoid hitting ranged creeps with level 1 Illuminate as it will be denied.
5) Do regular attack to a ranged creep 3 times before hit it with level 1 Illuminate.
6) Use Illuminate to make a stack

Mid Game
1) When not much is happening, push out lanes with Illuminate from the Fog. Do not show yourself if it is possible.
2) Consider use Illuminate to stack and flash-farm the Jungle, but DO NOT steal farm from your cores.
3) Use Spirit Form (increase cast range of planting ward) and Smoke of Deceit to plant wards, providing vision for your team. Also, use Sentry Wards to block camps.
4) Gank with your teammates who can play in this timing.
