Community Culture Utility
CCU is a community framework mod that aims to provide a bit more granularity to language and heritage relationships by adding heritage and language groups and families. No longer will cultures with West Germanic heritage be considered as foreign to Central Germanic ones as to Chinese ones. Similarly, it will be easier to learn languages more closely related to your mother tongue based on their group and family.

Features for Users
  • Cultures with a shared heritage group/family have increased baseline cultural acceptance
  • Cultures with a shared language group/family have increased baseline cultural acceptance
  • Languages in the same group/family as your native language are easier to learn
  • AI prefers to adopt more closely related languages
  • AI prefers to adopt court languages more closely related to their native tongue
  • No performance cost - all the heavy computations are done at game start

Compatibility Information
  • CCU needs to go towards the end of your load order, after any mods that add new heritages or languages
  • Mods that add or edit heritages or languages should add those files to CCU
  • RICE, More Bookmarks +, Better Medieval Cultures, and Africa + compatibility is built-in. Other mods that add heritages or languages are not compatible yet.
  • CCU is already integrated into Sinews of War, The Fallen Eagle, Crusader Universalis, After the End (unreleased), Sagas of Scandinavia (unreleased), Rajas of Asia, Cultures Expanded, and When the World Stopped Making Sense (unreleased)
  • Not usable out-of-the-box on existing saves, but should work ok if you type `effect trigger_event = { on_action = ccu_startup }` into the console when loading the save with CCU for the first time.

Seriously, though, using this mod with Glitterhoof causes 7000 errors in the error.log

I use this mod with Glitterhoof, and CCU warns me that Horse Culture doesn't have neither Language, nor Heritage Group. Literally unplayable.

Would love a new update since the big RICE update added native americans and CCU throwing warnings ingame. Keep up the good work!
