I need to ask this seriously… how do you make multiple collections?

Here's what I've made so far. Any suggested replacements in your workshop? I used these because they seemed to fit how PT boat engines looked at the time.

Keep in mind that this is a pretty small engine, so it won't be able to power a large boat at high speed. I have other, bigger engines for that. If you're getting less power when it's on the boat than on land (you can compare with a generator hooked up to it), make sure that you have hooked up fuel, air and exhaust properly. You can try using pumps on all those three as well to improve the flow and make sure it's not being restricted there. The detailed tooltip info you get when looking at the cylinder while it's spawned in and running (needs to be activated in the game settings) can help you determine issues easier as well.

Alright so the second I paste them into my boat I get nothing. Barely any power. I copied and pasted everything. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

I've tried making my own modular engines for my PT boat but I can't seem to get them stable. This engine fixed my issues with overheating! I'll have to reverse engineer it to see what I did wrong. This is a perfect example of the engine I was trying to build! Thanks for posting this!

Electricity Generation Review
----------
Max power units (when connected straight to generators on startup): 92
Consistent power units (when connected straight to generators when running): 92

Generators used:

Small: 0
Medium: 1
Large: 0

Other notes: runs better then the default small engine, is pretty fuel efficient, all required components are compact.
-------------
Good work!

It sounds a lot like the microcontroller isn't pasted with the engine. Make sure that the engine and microcontroller both are merged to the vehicle and that the logic nodes are still connected.

Same problem like M. Gardner, I tried to use it as a car engine, simple copy paste...any ideas? :)

Are you sure you're bringing the microcontroller with it and pasting then merging them properly?

Ok so, for whatever reason whenever I cut either engine, it just stops working...
