Description
Submod for the 634 Fire & Swords DLC

- Savegame compatible
- Made for 634, 642 and Vanilla, it enables the "Join Empire Option" (same people) for the subcultures Celtic, Caucasian, Desert, Sassanid, Sarmatian (Turk), Roman East and West.

Please support this mod and all other mods you use with a "Thumbs Up"! It is extremely frustrating for all modders that there are usual subscriber/like rates about 5%. We spend so much time to keep Attila interesting, so a bit attention for all the hard work would be nice.

Important Hints! When a faction joins your empire, the generals get not properly integrated to your nobles at the left side in family settings. They are NOT available for political actions. This is a problem of the Attila game mechanics (CA forgot to overhaul the Rome 2 stuff for Last Roman), Tanukhids in Grand Campaign are also affected. But many people and I too like the option, so I separated it from the 634 Fire & Swords DLC. The mod works for Vanilla and most other modmaps too, but the settings are made for the 634 & 642 campaign play, so the Germanic, Slavic and Baltic factions do not have the option.

634 AD - The people enjoy the last days of peace, there is absence from the war between Romans and Persians. Samo's Slavs defended their freedom against the Franks. In the Caucasus and even in Britain will not be fought, alike as in other regions, almost everywhere. But that will change soon. Some want to take vengeance for suffered disgraces, others want to spread their true religion, or the realm is too small. There are many reasons to make war, so the era of Fire and Swords is coming up. Take part in the bloody wars of the early Middle Ages and have fun!

Have fun!

#Gerhardt - the option is in diplomacy, if you have an option. the option is for same subculture, only, but not for all. Some have not, cause it makes no sense in the context of the campaign.

Thanks for the reply! What I mean is I'm not sure where can I see the option - is it supposed to be part of diplomatic choices, or somewhere else in the UI? Because it's not showing up as an option when I open up diplo proposals menu

@Gerhardt - sorry for the late respond. Exarchate is related to you. Generally the facrtions like to join, if they have problems. They have to be same subculture. If loadorder is important I write it in the description. All bugs are bugs of the game. CA did not adjust correct for Attila.

Hi! Many thanks for the mod series! a gigantic undertaking, judging by the results :) I have a question: how is the join empire option supposed to work? Is there a relations threshold I need to reach? For instance, playing as the Romans, there is no diplomatic option to make Exarchate of Ravenna join. Is there a particular load order, or something else I missed? Thank you

@miguel_bessa - the mod works exactly in the limits of the game. See Mod description:
for the subcultures Celtic, Caucasian, Desert, Sassanid, Sarmatian (Turk), Roman East and West.
That franks can make tributaries is setting. The mod is made for the gameplay of 634. Anything is ballanced and well tested.
By the way, all bugs as 2 heirs after a faction joined are Vanilla bugs. CA did not adjust for Attila Family tree.

Hi Anisvara! I've subscribed this submod but it doesn't work... Plus I'd like to point out that the frankish factions can't puppet just make tributaries... Can't you change that?
