Shipping Container Loader

This is a flight-line vehicle that was designed to load shipping containers onto my cargo aircraft. Any pallet equipped with either a 5 block or 9 block rail mount can be placed on the loader with a crane or forklift and then transferred to the aircraft cargo hold. The loader itself has a small diesel engine, lights, brakes, and a movable platform that can be raised to meet the height of a cargo ramp. I'm still working on a more efficient way to connect the loader to the ramp, but it has 2 vertical track grips on the front and rear of the platform that lock onto the ramp of the aircraft. The platform must be raised to the exact height of the ramp for the grips to lock in place.

Starting the vehicle is very simple. Turn on the fuel pump using the switch on the purple panel left of the steering column. Then turn the switch above the steering column. Finally, release the parking brake using the marked switch to the right of the steering column.
