UPDATE 12/10/23 - This MOD is no longer being supported by me. I have given permissions to necro to recreate this mod and maintain it. Thank you necro for all your hard work.

QOL and Balance changes to Bow and Arrows to enhance gameplay with Archery. Goal is to make Archery a viable main weapon comparable with melee and providing some group utility as well.


CURRENT CHANGE NOTES
All arrows stack to 500 (default 100)
All arrows damage increased by 4 points (minus a few utility arrows that do no damage)
All arrow weight decreased to .002 (default 1.0)
Crafting arrows yields 25 arrows (default 10)
All arrow heavy attack damage increased by 50%
All arrow stamina cost multiplier decreased to .5 (default 1.0)
All arrow heavy attack speed modifiers decreased to 0 (some had 1.0)

Exlposive Arrows
Damage decreased to 5 (default 7)
AoE min damage increased to 50 (default 2)
AoE max damage increased to 100 (defaul 10)

Firespark Arrow
Damage increased to 5 (default 0)
Bleed effect 4 damage per tick stacks 10 times 10 ticks
Penetration increased to 16.20% (default 0)

Harpy's Kiss Arrows
Changed crafting material to 10 branches (default 10 insulated wood)

Healing Arrow
Damage reduced to 0 (default 7)
Healing Mist increased to 25 hp per tick
Healing doesnt break on damage
Mist cures bleeds
Radius increased by 50%

Hunting Bow (changed to make up for gap in bow damage progression)
Increased damage to 9 (default 6)

Light Arrows
Damage reduced to 0 (default 1)
Light intensity increased to 4x
Raidus increased 3x

Light Hyrkanian Bow (changed to give a blunt bow option for thralls)
Decreased damage to 1 (default 9)
Increased Concussive damage to 15 for light and 25 for heavy (default 0 and 0)

Poison Arrow
Damage decreased to 5 (default 7)
Poison cloud damage increased to 40 per tick (default 30)

Razor Arrows
Reduced damage to 5 (default 14)
Added bleed effect 2 damage per tick stacks 10 times 10 ticks

Voidforge Arrows
Same weight as all arrows
Damage increased to 20 (default 10)
Penetration increased to 16.20% (default 0)

The mod seems to mostly still work as intended. I still use it in my single player game.

I'll be reposting as a new mod. I don't have access to this mod's files or accounts.

Progress Announcment:
I've finished making all the changes I wanted to add to improve the ranged combat experience in many ways. However, given that I know many would rather just have this mod as it is right now updated to the current version of CE, I'll be uploading a separate mod that only includes Zevik's original vision.

The mods will be called *Archery Evolved Reborn Plus* and *Archery Evolved Reborn Classic*, respectively.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, you can expect these mods to show up sometime in the next couple of weeks. I do have my hands full looking for a new job and a new place to live or else I'd be more comfortable saying just a week.

are you planning to upload your mod here, so this one will be updated once you are finish, or do you upload it as a new mod?
And can i use this mod without problems until yours is finish or does this mod have still bugs?

Quick Overall Progress Announcement:

The basic stuff is mostly done. The biggest holdup (other than some personal issues) has been me just trying to learn a bit more about how blueprints work. I'm a professional coder, but I've never worked with Unreal and the blueprints style of coding is unfamiliar to me. It is a new way of thinking about code that I wanted to adapt to and feel comfortable with. Not only did I have to recreate this mod from scratch, I had to start from square one not knowing much about Unreal or how this game's code is structured. I appreciate your patience.

That being said, there will be some new features in this updated edition. Some additions include improvements to nearly all forms of ranged combat, as well as overall adjustments to the original mod to better balance it with the current version of Conan Exiles. I hope you'll enjoy it when it is finished. I am nearly there.

Hi. I believe this problem is largely solved just by having the filed cooked with the current version. I haven't run into this issue in testing.

@necro if u are modding this...can u fix the dmg problem ?...i found the issue...its the high....the higher ranger do dmg and the lower ranger dont do any dmg or very low....even when it is only 1 cm higher this effekt happen i hope u can fix it

Ok, so I have talked to Zevlik and I have received their permission to update and maintain this mod. Due to the loss of the source files, I am having to recreate it from the ground up. Progress is going well. I'm recovering from surgery, but I'm able to do things so I have time off from work to complete it. I should have it up and available for download within the next couple of days.
