The Cuman-Kipchak Confederation was founded in the 10th century AD and acted as a regional power up until they were subjugated by the Mongol Empire in the 13th century AD.

This mod aims to retain Cumania as a strong AI rival in the steppe by consolidating their titles under an empire.

Features:
  • from 980 - 1200: a new de jure empire will be created on the map
  • if an earlier / later start date was chosen, said empire may be created via decision

@Ramune The Cuman Empire in this mod doesn't exist in the 1178 start date instead the vanilla Khazaria and Tataria de-jure Empires are there and the Cumans are just a Kingdom.

None of them look like they do, but if there is it'd probably be Cultures Expanded.

Update. I'm pretty sure it's cultures expanded as it even makes de jure Khazaria larger, but not exist by 1066.

Yeah the de jure Khazaria in 1066 by Paradox was another brainlet move. They could've just made it so Khazaria gets renamed depending on the culture that rules it. Like "Golden Horde" for Mongols and "Cumania" for the steppe coomers.

@Riaman I've abandoned this mod since I integreated it into Historic Invasions. Paradox also started assigning de jure land to the Mongol successor states. So no, it's no longer required.

CE mod just increased khazaria like yours is this mod still required then?
