Description
Targeting computer at request of discord user Lurmey, Improves accuracy of turrets when placed directly adjacent to them, has a 750 power draw and doesnt need to be manned. And special thanks to users Diakon, Jamaican, and Aelanna of the rimworld discord for their continuous support throughout this painful endeavor.

@lurmey mod settings is a C# thing i believe and thus beyond my abilities

@DemiDAforgotten; Thanks. :) Of course, you made the mod, the credit goes to you. All I did was tweak some values.

If I knew how to add a mod settings page I'd do that and give you the code to update this one xD

@lurmey after consideration that would be fine for me, as much as i like seeing numbers go up on my page i care more about people finding enjoyment with the mod, i do only ask you credit the original mod with a link when you do upload it

@Flying_Dutchman; you can edit the adjacency requirement in your copy by editing the def for the computer, but if you're not confident doing that I can upload my copy (details further below) as a fork if Demi is ok with it.

Correction to what I said earlier: Mini-turrets have 96% base accuracy, not 98%, but going up to 99% makes them better than uranium slug turrets and on-par with charge railguns from VFE - Security! xD

it looks like a vitals sensor for hospitals, do you plan on changing that in the future?

also, having to put it directly next to a turret makes this very vulnerable. what about giving it like a 5 tile radius? id rather put it behind a wall.

For a direct omparison; a mini-turret has 98% base accuracy, which at it's max range of 29 tiles is 56% to hit, whereas with the mod applied +3% it totals to 133% to hit. Weapon accuracy will reduce both of those, as well as target size, cover, and weather, but that should give a good idea of how powerful this mod is.

This is a nice video summarising how it works, pawn and turret shot calculations work the same, just the turret usually can't gain skill, health capacities, or masterwork sniper rifles to aid them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdMdfQwxEGs
