Medieval Torches & Braziers V1.0.8b

Description
MEDIEVAL TORCHES & BRAZIERS

Mod ID = 2749952470

This mod gives a little atmosphere to your base, instead of the vanilla torches use
these medieval ones, they include wood burning torches/braziers as well as coal burning
torches/braziers.

WHAT! I hear you say, “COAL BURNING! you only get coal at Christmas when Raptor Claus appears and drops them”.

Not so , this mod comes with the 'Acme Coal Making Machine' that converts stone and oil into
usable custom coal called “Fuel Coals”, these last longer than the wood burners fuel of wood, etc.

During the 'New Year' event coal dropped by Raptor Claus will also work in the braziers.

So far there are 12 coal burning braziers, 8 wood burning braziers.

2 coal torches (1 x Wall mounted and 1 x Pole mounted)

2 pole 'General Fuel' Burning Torches. (1 x Wall mounted 1 x Pole mounted).

More will be added if the mod proves popular.

Because the Huge Braziers are massive compared to the normal ones the Insulation Range
and Hyper Therm, Hypo Therm have been changed to suit, they are now hotter and protect
from cold better at greater distance.

FUEL BURNING TIMES

Shown as per item....

COAL = 1080 or 18 minutes
CUSTOM COAL = As Above

THATCH = 7.5 seconds
WOOD = 30 Seconds
SPARKPOWDER = 60 seconds
ANGLERGEL = 240 Seconds or 4 Minutes
GASOLINE = 900 Seconds or 15 Minutes

Height of the Huge Coal Burning Brazier increased (it looked silly).

30/07/23 - Added 2 new foundation sized braziers both types - 1 x Coal and 1 x General Fuel.

The Braziers act as cookers as well as providing light and heat.

The torches provide light and heat only, no cooking facility.

Coal Maker gives 3 coals every 2.5 minutes.
At a cost of 30 x Stone and 5 x Oil

Coal maker is working fine now, please note that as soon as you enter the correct ingredients the crafting will become automatic there is nothing you need do other than insert the ingredients.

Two new foundation sized braziers added one for wood burning and one for coal burning, sorry for the delay, this was due to illness.

I have also changed the time it takes to create coal it now gives 3 coal every 2 minutes, that cut the time by more than half.

Also tidied descriptions within the game as some had bad spelling (Not like me at all :))

I'm curious if Scott ever found that foundation-sized brazier. I'd like to find the same thing

@ scott_wollman - I was going to look into this but as you say you have unsubbed anyway I cannot see the point.

@J0hnbane - they would not be burners without fuel and would be a little cheaty if you were to ask me.

Any chance of having an ini option to not require fuel to burn?
