1: Due to the card text, the Vanquish is mandatory to turn Lysanderoth into Lygon.
2: Lygon can return by discarding Machinations on King Dragon's turn.
We did come across two questions:
1. When Lysanderoth becomes Lygon due to"King Dragon Sends His Regards", is the Vanquish mandatory? We have a situation where the only one Lygon can Vanquish is Prince Horace, which would be a very bad turn.
2. A few turns ago, my friend played two Machinations on the field while Lysanderoth is still the Hero. On his last turn, he played "King Dragon Sends His Regards" and turned Lysanderoth into Lygon, and then passed his turn to me. I used the fate "I think that enemy got the point" to discard Lygon into Undetected Pile. Can Lygon return immediately by using Machinations' effect?
