Description
Disclaimer: This will make your game harder.

At the end of WH2, time to release stuff I've been holding back!
Yo!
Ever thought that there's not really any punishments for having your cities razed, or razing others? Ok, so yes it is a punishment since you'd have to rebuild everything from scratch with a lot of costs, but you can easily resettle and claim the land quickly. It's like the land doesn't stay burned for long.

This aims to find ways to tackle that and make things harder, while also add new elements to keep things new.

What does this Mod do?
  • Changes the cost of reoccupying settlements for all factions.
  • Introduces a new campaign effect, recolonization cost reduction.
  • The AI also pay treasury for recolonizing ruins as well.

Some Info
Recolonisation base lowest cost has increased from 2500 to 8000.
Army size cost reduction on colonisation is not as effective anymore (from 5% per unit to 1% per unit)
The AI now has to pay just as much as the player has for colonisation. AI no longer occupies for free.

Colonisation cost is always halved for these races:
Skaven, Vampire Counts and Vampire Coast.

The Tomb Kings race have no colonisation cost.

Faction effects:

Helman Ghorst and Luthor Harkon have "Colonisation cost: -25%" as a faction effect.

Technologies:

The tech "Imperial Architects" for the Empire, now has additionally "Colonisation cost: -15%".
The tech "Spread Vampire Covens" for Vampire Counts, now has additionally "Colonisation cost: -25%".
The tech "Marauders of the West" for Norsca, now additionally has "Colonisation cost: -25%"
The tech "Marauders of the East" for Norsca, now additionally has "Colonisation cost: -25%"
The tech "Marauders of the New World" for Norsca, now additionally has "Colonisation cost: -25%"
The Tech "Less Eatin', More Buildin'" for Greenskins, now additionally has "Colonisation cost: -25%"
The Tech "Carve Undertunnels" for Skaven, now additionally has "Colonisation cost: -25%"

Genius idea. Love it. Hopefully someday we see something like this in TW warhammer 3 but atleast we witnessed its glory for TW warhammer 2.

Played Def Emp and my Boy Vlad with it and your Aversion Setup, i like it. .you really got to look at your purse instead of click and run without thinking twice.
And for Purpose, i disagree with the Gents Before, you dont raise and raze Settlements like Paperwalls and at the Same Time get hard cladded legions out of it in short Time, did always give an much tu easy feel. thats gone, i think twice or thrice if, how or not to defend/raze/occupy , and what bonus, building etc hidden behind it. that said, i play it along with another plethora of mods, so i definetly speak for myself alone sabsolute non vanilla.

The AI also pays for occupation now.
If anything, I could increase the effect bonuses on recolonization. As I introduced a new effect that reduces recolonization costs.
