Description

Replaces most game sound effects and music with ones found in Half-Life 2/the Source Engine, which are also used in other Source games like Portal, Garry's Mod, Counter Strike, Team Fortress 2, etc.

Version without music

Currently most sounds and about half the music is replaced, but I plan on replacing more. If you have any suggestions or find anything that sounds off please let me know.

hey you should probably redo the explosion sounds if you ever update this mod again

the explosion sounds here are way louder in the left ear since hl2 uses each stereo channel to store close-up and distant sound effects respectively, and i assume you ported them into the game without deleting the right channel
