The Brick

The brick is our standard tool for measuring locomotive power. Weighing a massive 127775 Units, It is no easy car to pull. It is much less laggy and a whole lot faster than spawning in a long train. Use the blueprint to tune your locomotive’s power output and attempt to eliminate wheel slip.

These are the benchmark speeds you should expect to hit with your wheel arrangement of choice:
2 axles- 18mph
4 axles- 36mph
6 axles- 54mph (above 50 is acceptable)

The base idea is to get 9mph per axle.

As you go past 6 axles, getting 9mph per axle may become more difficult or impossible. Steam locomotives should not be graded as harshly as getting adequate power may be more difficult than powering a diesel.
