Thank you for the story arktiem. Interesting reading. Great you enjoyed this scenario as well.
As mentioned previously, it was great for me to actually get a train into Banff in 1978.
My wife and I then went to the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton for a week. One of the best weeks of our lives. Out late every night after the sport, attending cultural shows by the participating countries. Every night in bed about 1:00am, then up at 9:00am, to do it all again. Stayed in a undergound carport with our own key, to come and go as we pleased. Magic.

What an incredible flood of memories this wonderful scenario brought back to me of the hundreds and hundreds of hours I spent doing jobs on Maple Leaf Track's Kicking Horse Pass route for Microsoft Train Simulator. It ran from Field to Banff and, while there are some differences between the two, I could remember almost every inch of the line. Wow... and that didn't include the hundreds of hours I put into the Shuswap Sub and Rogers Pass (and more) from Maple Leaf Tracks. Thank you, my friend! A great Scenario of yours that I will treasure always! (Oh, and DTG's Canadian Mountain Passes is the better of the two! Sorry MSTS!) Take care and... onto the next (new) memories! :rrctrain:
