STARTING THE VESSEL
After Entering the vessel near the bow, proceed aft through the hatch at the back of the Torpedo Room, then continue through the hatch to your right. This should take you to the central command post.

Once in the Central Command Post you should see 2 buttons to your immediate right labeled "Reactor Pumps" & "Start Reactor". Pressing both of these buttons should start the reactor.

One the boiler pressure starts to rise, head to the other side of the Central Command Post and advance the throttle on the wall and the sub should start to move.

DIVING THE VESSEL
From the Helm in the Central Command Post, Press the buttons labeled "Deploy Bow Planes", "Fill Forward Ballast" & "Fill Aft Ballast". Then input your desired depth into the keypad labeled "Autodepth Target". Once the ballast tanks are sufficiently filled press the button labeled "Toggle Autodepth" to dive the sub.

FIRING THE TORPEDOES
From the Central Command Post, Press the button labeled "Flood Tube 1" or "Flood Tube 2" to flood your desired Torpedo Tube. Once the dial for the tube indicates that it is fully flooded, press the button labeled "Open Tube 1/2 Outer Door". Then press the button labeled "Unlock Firing Buttons". When you are ready to fire, press the "Fire Tube 1/2" Button to fire the torpedo.

RELOADING THE TORPEDOES
Once a torpedo has been fired, Toggle off the "Fire Torpedo 1/2" button(s) and press the buttons to close the Tube doors. Once the tube doors are closed, press the button(s) labeled "Empty Tube 1/2" to drain the water out of the torpedo tubes. Once the water is trained out of the torpedo tubes, press the buttons labeled "Reload Tube 1/2" to automatically reload the torpedo tubes.

SHIP HISTORY
The Project 671-Class Nuclear Attack Submarines were designed as a followup to the Project 627(November)-Class Subs first sailing in the late 50s. While the goal of the Project 627 Class boats was to simply get something nuclear powered into the water, the Project 671-Class was specifically designed to be a reliable, fast, long duration, long range attack submarine. The first vessel of the Project 671-Class took to sea in 1967. NATO would designate the class the "Victor" Class.

Soviet leadership was initially very please with the Project 671-Class vessels, however, as more ships of the class entered service, several problems became apparent. One of the most significant issues the class displayed was noise. The Project 671-Class subs quickly gained a reputation for being one of the loudest submarine classes ever deployed, being easily tracked by NATO ships and submarines.

Even with this glaring flaw, the Soviet Navy would order 48 Project 671-Class vessels with 16 of them being in the original Victor-I configuration. Like many other Soviet submarine classes, many of the Project 671-Class ships would serve until the end of the cold war, being scrapped in the 90s.

me too the heat will rise and after the heat it will have the generator go up but no pressure and after a while it just stops generating any power for the battery its unusable :(

Yeah to be honest I haven't been able to get pressure, so I'm not sure of its broken somehow

I love this and the trafalgar class a lot, more so than more complex subs because you nail the "feel" of a sub better while still making them intuitive to run. But there's kind of a silly mistake in them - the torpedo tubes fill/empty from/to the seawater outside the vehicle. The pressure at depth makes it impossible to pump water out of the tubes if the sub gets below a certain depth, so you have to go shallow just to reload - which is why real subs don't work this way. You can fix that by having them fill/drain from a reserve tank of water - I've taken the lazy option of just routing the pump intakes/outlets to the bottom of the fore ballast tank.

Do you ever plan making 80's or 90's era submarines like the Akula's, Sierra's, and the Victor III vers? I'd like to see one of those.

Would there be by any chance an update where you do make them guided/homing? its a really good sub with potentional, its just the torpedos are, well, like you said. Dumb.

Shuttleman, They are not homing torpedoes, They are the same dumb fired torpedoes I used in the Trafalgar-class.
