Middenheim Grand Cannon: Ulric's Thunder (WH2)

Description
A version of this mod is now available for Total War: Warhammer 3. This means that this mod will no longer be maintained.

One last hurrah for Total War: Warhammer 2, this mod was created for the Da Modding Den's final Modder Jam under the theme "I can't believe it's not Sigmar!"

Any Empire faction that controls Middenheim will have the option to build Ulric's Thunder, an absurdly large cannon that fires shells so big they can only be loaded by a giant.

Once per turn, this cannon can hit targets on the campaign map! After constructing the building, select Middenheim, click the button in the top left, then select either the enemy force or the enemy settlement that you want to shoot, and boom.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The icon art is from an illustration of the absurdly large cannon[warhammerfantasy.fandom.com] which I believe was drawn by Adrian Smith.

This mod provides interaction in campaign only, it doesn't add anything to battles themselves. (Maybe that'll change in the future, no promises.) But thank you for confirming the leadership debuff was in play, that definitely means the cannon hit!

The militia won a fight against a Superior number of better troops the leadership debuff was def in effect. Could the mod be effected by skaven change to doom rockets, as I have more mods that mess with the skaven then any other as they are my fav to play.

I think they still took the leadership debuff becasue i didnt understand why full stacks of empire units were running like skaven

@GotWeenies - that's strange, I'll have to retest when I get a chance.

It was like turn 5 i hit the rebels after starting as middenland. They attacked with a small militia force while the main army took on the orcs to the north. The miltia was shocked to find an army and garrison to fight, but they didnt there duty.

@GotWeenies - it should've done damage to the settlement garrison and also provided a big leadership debuff assuming it actually hit. What settlement did you target and who owned it? Was there an army stationed in the settlement in addition to the regular garrison?

So I tageted a city and fired. It didnt hurt the army in the city now i am in the battle for it and all the unit are full strength, I look for a way to launch it in battle like the doom rockets and dont see anything there. So I am a bit confused about what this thing does...
