Immersive Campaign: West Roman Empire Honorius Augustus Reskin (Standalone)

Description
*Update I: Added a custom Unit Portrait and Unit Card
*Update II: Due to popular request the shield has been changed from a Chi-Rho to a more ambiguous pattern, for either a Christian or Pagan playthrough. Winged Victory ("Nike") or Angels, you decide.

Who is the mod for?
Anyone who is playing the Vanilla Grand Campaign and wants to feel more immersed in the campaign map playing as the WRE, ERE or as any faction interacting with the Romans.

What does this mod do?
Exactly as described on the tin: Enhances the Faction leader of the Western Roman empire by reskinning them to a more historical "Roman" feel by using existing vanilla assets, without going overboard. This only changes the Faction leader, nothing else.

Why was this mod created?
Because I never found any mod that did what I wanted it to do - and be standalone.
I took inspiration from the consular diptych of Anicius Petronius Probus depicting the Roman emperor Honorius clad in a military outfit underneath an arch on each leaf, made in 406 AD. From this relief one can subtly notice Honorius' fondness for the Roman Toga (draped over his left shoulder), Jewellery, Muscle Cuirasses, and Mythical depictions of Ancient Roman Deities and Heroes. In addition, his golden Solidus from 397 depicts him again wearing a muscle cuirass with an overdraping toga. In a surviving cameo from his wedding to Maria, one can notice Honorius wearing a long sleeved tunica under his draped toga, which would most certainly be worn with the pants of the day.

Using the vanilla assets I modelled him as best I could while staying true to the in-game feel. I know there are other mods out there with no helmet, or using a wreath, but let's be serious, no emperor is going to take the field in a battle without wearing a helmet, not during late antiquity. Therefore I gave him the "Deurne" helmet which was worn by cavalrymen of the Equites Stablesiani, who were members of the Emperor's personal Comitatus. This helmet was found in territory of the Western Roman Empire.

Does this mod have any compatibility issues?
Nope - it only changes the textures of WRE's Faction leader - this is meant for Vanilla.

@SpooderPonda: No, too much work to do all individual generals.

@Sakanade can you make future Western Roman Emperors also have that outfit ? I would be nice . I prefer anyone but Honorius to be Emperor

@SpooderPonda: Correct, it's just for Honorius.

So just an observation , I got Honorius killed and got Stilicho as Emperor but Stillicho is not wearing the robe as shown in the mod . Is it only for Honorius ?

@Sakanade Indeed, both the roman senator and the half-vandal Magister Militum held themselves in political support and had a friendly relationship. What facsinates me the most is that Symmachus gave far more respect and credit to Stilicho than many roman nobles, Nicenes, Arians, or Pagans. I wonder how longer the Western Roman Empire would have held, had Honorius died sooner and they lived longer while still teaming up ? Maybe 20 years ? Then again, doing uchronias is one of these Total War's purposes.

@Sakanade Same, tho I often vary between Symmachus getting married to Stilicho's daughter or being "adopted" - tho I redefine it as purely political conciliation with the imperial family circle as a close ally and advisor rather than a formal and proper familial adoption - either by Honorius or Stilicho. I often get Honorius killed "by accident" on the panonnian front in order to get Stilicho and Symmachus as co-regents of the West in order, with enough time to strengthen the Aurelii as primer inter pares, supported by the Senate and the rebuilt western armies. All while restraining the influence of the Nicene Church in favor of the Old Ways, but limiting persecutions.

@Hellseeker13: My canon playthroughs have Stilicho's remaining daughter marry Symmachus.
IRL Symmachus and Stilicho were good friends. In fact during this time period there were many qualified administrators in the government, any one of them would have been better at ruling the empire than Honorius.

Cool skin of Honorius, but he is still a little ***t. Better have Stilicho and Symmachus ruling the Western Empire, rather than him.

@Kublaioi: I only just returned to modding after a long hiatus, I'm currently working on a vanilla unit card overhaul. I'm not sure porting all of the FoTE assets for a Vanilla Reskin patch is going to go over well with the modders of FotE, so unfortunately I can't help there, but I'm working on something.
