KatanaZero: NULL

Katana ZERO is a stylish neo-noir, action-platformer featuring breakneck action and instant-death combat. Slash, dash, and manipulate time to unravel your past in a beautifully brutal acrobatic display.


NULL was a project commissioned by the New Mecca government as a tactic to win the Cromag War. The project aimed to produce super soldiers with precognitive powers using a military drug specifically created for the project called Chronos.

Participants in the NULL program would be chosen based on their lack of empathy whilst killing, with psychopathic participants being prominent. They would undergo training in a secret government facility disguised as a Slaughterhouse in the Third District, overseen by Leon Von Alvensleben. They fell into three categories in ascending order of skill, as well as exposure to Chronos:
- Alpha NULL - 7% of all Alpha NULL survived the training program.
- Beta NULL - 13% of all Beta NULL survived the training program.
- Gamma NULL - The most rigorous of all NULL programs, Gamma NULL were trained and given Chronos since childhood to develop their ability to predict the future as well as hone their combat expertise. Every Gamma NULL survived the training program.

In the War, NULLs would carry out their missions in small groups, called "death squads" by one of the war veterans.
After the Cromag War, the NULL soldiers were released from the care of the New Mecca government. At the time, the government was allegedly unaware that Chronos withdrawal was fatal, and most of the NULL soldiers died of it. Those who survived, however, became mercenaries and assassins, paid in Chronos by individuals and organizations that either had a stockpile of it, or the ability to manufacture more.
While some information about the NULL program reached the general public, it has been widely disregarded as conspiracy theories. The veterans in the bar describe the NULLs' powers as "rewinding time or reading minds or something," indicating a lack of understanding on Chronos.

These mods have been made with unity 2020, this means these mods are only available in beta, till after release of the next update: EA26. If you encounter a failed to load bug this is because it's not compatible with the old release please switch over to the beta branch of the game.
Switching to beta can be done by:
1. Right clicking on ravenfield in your library
2. Select properties
3. Select betas
4. Select beta branch.
