Key strategic elements to consider when playing Gyrocopter:

Rocket Barrage does tons of damage when an opponent is isolated.
Gyrocopter has great waveclear early on. Push out waves once you have two points in Flak Cannon and start farming nearby camps.
Ask your teammates to stack for you as you can clear stacks easily once you max out Flak Cannon.
`Hit count` objects like Supernova can be removed with ease by attacking them and flakking other heroes down.
Make sure to get Aghanim's Scepter as soon as possible as it improves farming speed and DPS in fights.
Side Gunner can attack even when Gyrocopter is stunned and all attack modifiers work as well.
In teamfights, focus on hitting most of the opponents with Flak Cannon and Call Down.
If in desperate position, consider purchasing Divine Rapier as last resort. Works well with Flak Cannon.
You can use Force Staff on your Homing Missile to push it forward and surprise enemy heroes.
