Key strategic elements to consider when playing Terrorblade:

Use your Reflection when your support is harassing the opponents, or in combination with Metamorphosis to inflict greater damage.
Feel free to pop Metamorphosis to give yourself an easier time last hitting for two creep waves. Try to harass your opponents and deny their creeps.
Stay healthy as illusions will inherit your hero`s current health, unless you took the Soul Fragment facet.
Don`t stay in the lane too long and consider moving to the jungle with Power Treads and 3 levels in Conjure Image. You should also move to the jungle when your lane gest too hard, such as enemy heroes hitting level 6.
You can also Sunder an ally or illusion when in trouble. You can body block an opponent with illusions as well.
Farm dangerous areas with illusions, control runes and provide vision when opponents are missing.
Pop Metamorphosis only when opponents are committed to the fight. It can get kited if you pop it too early.
Push out side lanes and farm the enemy jungle with illusions when not much is happening around the map.

Main skill and item combo order: Conjure Image => Metamorphosis => Reflection => Attack
