Key strategic elements to consider when playing Naga Siren:

Make sure pull camps are not blocked as the lane will be pushing frequently due to Rip Tide. Ask your support to start with a sentry.
Use mirror image and send out your illusions to scout the opponents` position safely.
Mirror Images can be used to deny runes or to deceive the opponents about your hero`s presence.
Use Mirror Image non stop to last hit and trade with your opponents.
Mirror Image applies basic dispel on cast and provides half a second of invulnerability.
Consider putting a point in Ensnare around level 3 but only if you can guarantee a kill with it.
Setup hotkeys and control groups to easily control and split up your illusions.
Naga Siren is not a particularly strong laner. If you find it difficult to farm in lane you can move into the jungle as early as levels 3 or 4.
Once you get some items and become a little stronger keep 1 illusion with you to farm and send the other 2 to push out a wave or farm another camp at the same time.
Keep sending out your illusions to push lanes or even farm creep camps in the opponent`s jungle, while you farm safely in yours.
Be quick at judging the situation and pop Song of the Siren if you`re getting ganked or want to setup for your team to follow up.
You can use Song of the Siren to secure Roshan kill.
Aghanim`s Scepter is a great pick up to control spell immune heroes.
