(Halo 3) Vsh_Valhalla_Halloween

Description
This map is a remake of the iconic Halo 3 map, Valhalla, with a Halloween night theme twist! This is a recreation that stays faithful to the original map in Halo 3, and is scaled almost perfectly 1:1. This map is intended for Saxton Hale / Freak Fortress 2 game modes, and does NOT have functioning spawn rooms. Both bases have functioning gravity lifts, and the BLU base locks the boss in the room for the first 10 seconds of each round to allow for a brief setup period.

Please let me know what you think of this recreation in the comments, and feel free to explain any map errors, bugs, or serious exploits that should be fixed.

I do currently have the regular version of Valhalla made without the Halloween theme, but the quality of that map version is much lower and is not ready to be posted on the workshop at this time.

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE *** This map causes an "engine hunk overflow" error to occur, which will crash Team Fortress 2. I am unsure of the reason behind this error and unfortunately the only way to circumvent this issue is to enter a command into the TF2 launch properties window. Please follow these steps to successfully run the map:

1) In Steam, find Team Fortress 2 in your game library.
2) Right-click TF2 to open the context menu, and select "Properties..."
3) Under the General tab, located on the left of the properties pane, navigate to "Launch Options" at the bottom of the general tab.
4) In the text box, type the following:

+r_hunkalloclightmaps 0

5) Close the Properties window. No save or apply button is necessary.

You should now be able to load the map! *** If running the map on a server, the same command should be executed server-side. Enjoy!

Would be nice to see this map fixed and perhaps using the ingame vscript version of vsh

For the record, the lightmap crash is fixed on x64 branch

@IFlippie I may try to re-purpose this map & fix the issue, unfortunately the FF2 mod no longer works properly and we have abandoned our server because of this. It may be fun to try and make this into a cool MvM map though or something similar. The last couple of times I tried to fix the issue, my computer crashed during render, it takes 48-72 hours to fully compile the map, and I cannot use my computer during the process

Did you ever end up fixing the above mentioned issue?

@Will T.TVR I'm giving myself a 0/5 for not naming it that. Huge disappointment

Loses big points for not being called "Vallhalloween." (Unless it is in-game and I didn't notice cuz I didn't play it)

@bumbling fool You just need to subscribe to download it, it should be a part of your map selection right after, but you may need to restart your game. You can access the map by clicking find game, then create a server. Just make sure you followed the steps above to be able to run it!

@ficool2 I'm currently trying to optimize as best I can, I would love to fix the issue, of course its an annoying barrier for people to deal with, but hopefully this issue will be fixed soon

@ficool2 Thank you for the information, I'll try that today and see how it works!
