Eustace's Sigmarite Skills

Description
What does this mod do?
Saltzpyre’s Warrior Priest career in Vermintide 2 inspired me to create a mod for the Sigmarite priest characters (Warrior Priests, Arch Lectors and Volkmar) in Total War: Warhammer 2. I decided to rebalance their base stats and create new skill lines and abilities for these characters to make them more interesting to use and more powerful. The skills added by this mod are additional and do not replace existing skills, though some existing skills have been altered.

Because the skills are additional they inevitably make the characters stronger than their vanilla counterparts, but not ridiculously OP.

Volkmar the Grim Changes:
Volkmar gains increased weapon strength and armour, making him more survivable when on foot and horseback. His stats also remain higher when mounted on his War Altar.

Volkmar can choose between hefty buffs when fighting certain factions or a set of smaller buffs that are always active via mutually exclusive skills. His War Altar now gives him the ability ‘Horn of Sigismund’, which gives all units in his army the ‘causes fear’ attribute for 30 seconds, like a Rune of Doom lite. Volkmar also receives a skill that replaces Flagellants’ ‘Strength of the Penitent’ ability with the new ‘Wrath of the Penitent’, which makes them even more durable and increases damage done while losing in melee. This is intended to help thematic Flagellant-heavy armies stay viable into the lategame.

Arch Lector Changes:
Arch Lectors remain the defensive option when compared to Warrior Priests, but they now have a much better AP damage split and melee attack so they stand a chance at holding their own in duels with enemy lords. Arch Lectors can choose via skills to focus on offensive or defensive playstyles, or campaign map buffs to increase stability.

Warrior Priests Changes:
Warrior Priests now have more AP damage and altered stats across the board, to make them more survivable against hordes of enemies and more competent duellists. They are still primarily support characters but they now pack more of a punch, as they do in lore and other media. Warrior Priests can choose the Order they belong to via skills, each coming with a set of thematic buffs including one which gives them Unbreakable and ‘Strength of the Penitent’ to allow better support to Flagellants.

Changes to All:
Volkmar, Lectors and Priests get a new passive ability called ‘Righteous Fury’, which gives them a significant splash damage and AP damage spike periodically while they remain in melee. To Volkmar this ability is innate, but it must be unlocked by Lectors and Priests at level 16. Righteous Fury also imbues the ‘Flammable!’ debuff, which synergises with Soulfire and Grand Soulfire, which now cause both fire and magic damage.

Benediction, available to Volkmar, Lectors and Priests, now gives a small amount of phys resist so it actually has a use when taken alongside Flagellants and Sigmar's Sons.

The Regiment of Renown 'Sigmar's Sons' gains an innate ability 'Heart of Battle', which is effectively the inverse of the Flagellants' ability. It gives physical resistance and increased damage when winning in melee, making Sigmar's Sons expert at cutting through hordes of lesser units such as Skeletons, Zombies and Clanrats.

Volkmar and Arch Lectors can give the passive ability 'Thunderous Charge' to Empire Knights and Reiksguard units via skills, allowing them to briefly inflict the 'Dazed' contact effect when charging. This aims to make Empire Knights more viable into the lategame by increasing both the damage they deal and their support utility.

Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with most mods that don't add new skills to the three characters this mod edits.

For clarity: not actually "somethingsomething" it is just I don't remember the name of the effect. There aren't that many, you'll find it.

Fix: open with RPFM, find wh2_dlc04somethingsomething in effect bundles and swap with wh2_dlc17_effect_ability_cooldown_battle_prayers_accusation.

Warrior Priest's Battle Prayer cooldown reduction doesn't work.
