Appalachian Adventures

I created this theme park based on some of my favorite vacations, which are trips to the Appalachians and the Smoky Mountains. Welcome to Appalachian Adventures where you can experience raging, whitewater river rides, take perilous adventures delivering moonshine, or enjoy the quaint atmosphere of a small-town main street.

The Appalachian Trail stretches over 2,000 miles from Georgia to Maine and takes hikers weeks to complete. One of the most challenging sections is known as "The Roller Coaster". This section climbs and descends through small ridges and hallows. This is the inspiration for the "Trail Blazer" which is a thrilling roller coaster ride through the Appalachian forest, filled with sharp turns, steep climbs and drops, and multiple inversions!

The park's other rides are:
"Mine Runner": a fast-paced ride through caverns and an underground mining town.

"Moonshiners Run": You've been asked to deliver moonshine, but you need to watch out for other moonshiners, the sheriff, and maybe "demon" wolves!

Two water rides - "The Ocoee Raging Rapids" and "Log Jam"

Three flat rides, including "Barn Buster" which is based on the real Barn Buster in Dollywood.

The "Smokey Express' - a train ride around the entire park, including close views of the park's waterfalls.

The park also offers two options for weary travelers. The first option is the Sedgewick Hotel, which some believe to be haunted. We have our doubts, but, just in case, the staff is prepared :) The more adventurous visitors can stay in the cabins. Be aware that the cabins require visitors to navigate through multiple climbs and rope bridges. Pack lightly!

Remember, if a door is open, there is something to see. If it is closed, probably nothing to see there.
