This is a small mod i threw together for my server, but figured i might as well upload it to the workshop since its something that really should be in the base game.

I would like Gas to be valuable on my server but a problem i had was that you never had anywhere to store gas other than using a hundred gas cans..... With this mod you can now stockpile your gas into barrels and then use your empty gas cans to get more!

You need level 3 Metalworking to make the empty barrels

Empty Gas Barrel - Requires:
Propane Torch, Welding mask, 4 x Metal sheet

To fill an empty barrel requires 5x Full Gas Cans, The barrels can then be placed in the world like a furniture item and they can be stacked two high!

You can then pick the barrels back up and fill 5 empty gas cans

Now you hoarders can hoard gas too!

@Freesabird🕊 I'm actually glad to hear that (read that?). I would assume a barrel that size would hold more that 5 cans of gas.

A barrel can hold a lot more gas then five gas cans. more like (at least) 15

What trashdog said. Also would be nice if we did not have to pick it up to fill/empty it and had to use 100% of it. Would be better if it functioned like a water cooler for gas.

The only difference between us is that he's playing on Linux and i'm playing on Windows.

No stack trace errors though.
