Jamais Vu Update Achievements

In a recent update new achievements and events were added to the game, this guide will help you get them. Warning, this guide is not spoiler free for the way to achieve the new content!

Cause a ****storm

You brought this on yourself

You need at least 9 high hand/eye coordination for this one. Send kim away and go stand under the tree near land's end, click on the yellow orb that comes up and throw dirt on the seagull.

Leopard Mindset

*This* is the kind of animal you want to be

Walk to the water below the church. You'll spot a leopard bodysuit floating in the water. When your electrochemistry is 8 an orb will appear, click it and the bodysuit will become interactable. Grab it and interact with it in your inventory, and put it on - the achievement will unlock even if you back out in the end.

Wheel of Pleasure and Light

Reconstruct a vision from the past

Make sure your visual calculus is at least 8. Talk to Trant Heidelstam near the Feld mural until he mentions the pleasure wheel, then find the dead body on the boardwalk and take on the case or transfer it. Follow the quest to the end, and then click on the blue orb. return to the boardwalk and click on another orb there.

Modus: Mullen

It's black-and-white out there

Get Annette inside the bookstore so she gives you Mullen's hat. Get inside the secret passage in the whirling and get the pinball maker's coat. Wear them both at once. Then pass a reaction speed check to be able to buy "D1ck Mullen and the Mistaken Identity" from the bookstore. Read it and talk to both Annette and Plaisance about it. Go outside and two blue orbs will appear, click on them and then interact with the book again and click on the "Modus: Mullen" option.

Bother Kim After Hours

He probably won't mind

This option wasn't available for me on the first two days, so try it on day 3. After the end of the day when you enter your room go back to Kim's room at the whirling and knock on his door.

Baddest Brow in Town

Force Kim to reveal his secrets

Talk to Kim and ask him about himself. Then ask him to tell you a secret. Don't give up, and ask again. You need to pass a passive check of 14 authority in order to get him to spill the secret, which means at least 8 points in it.

Gurdi-Ball is Lit

Get your pinball on

Enter the secret passage in the whirling (you can break the door on Klaasje's roof or find the key in the window where the Hardie boys are sitting). Then play the pinball machine on the first floor (it costs 1 real). Winning doesn't matter.

Get Kim to Wear *The Jacket*

You know which one

On day 4, talk to the two SKULLS next to Kim's kineema. Ask them about the jackets they're wearing. Pass a red legendary half-light check in order to get the jackets from them, and a passive suggestion check of 14 before the conversation ends in order to make Kim wear it. If you had enough suggestion, put on the **** the world jacket after the conversation and proceed by clicking the purple orb, and he will wear the other one.

This achievement seems to be bugged currently, but to unlock it you can take a few extra steps:

1. Reload a previous 4th day save and make Kim wear the jacket, then make a save
2. Reload a previous hardcore save and watch the ending again
3. Start a new hardcore game and check that Kim is wearing a new black jacket
4. Save the game, then exit to the main menu and quit
5. Run the game again and reload the jacket save and it should unlock
6. If it still hasn't unlocked, reload a hardcore save from the island at the end of the game

Does anyone have a day 6 hardcore save? I deleted all my saves before the update.

Thanks for the guide. Just one thing to add about Get Kim to Wear *The Jacket* step 6: If the previous hardcore save is you with Kuuno. The achievement will not unlock. You just have to load a hardcore save with Kim (at any stage)

the jacket achievement didnt unlock but then i activated hardcore mode in the menu and it unlocked right away

I had some trouble getiing Modus: Mullen. However, I raised my logic from -1 to 1 and got the orb afterwards.

@J.Lost try following all the steps again, then reloading a hardcore save from the island at the end of the game, that is how it unlocked for me!

well...It's very helpful,I did see Kim wearing a blue and black RCM jacket in the new round
but when I reload the jack save it still didn't unlock,no matter before or after Kim wear that jacket
I give up ,hope this bug can be fixed soon
I will add these steps to my Chinese guide translation.Thank you again for your great contribution

@TheOneAndOnly[REDACTED] yes, that is what he says about the jacket when youre wearing it to the tribunal! he takes it off afterward. for some reason that line is present in hardcore mode even if you never do that on that save. probably a bug.

Huh! Haven't gotten to rewatch the hardcore ending to check for the black jacket yet, my last hardcore save ended at the tribunal. It did give me the option to say something along the lines of "You took off the jacket..." after waking up which was interesting!

@shadowheart it worked! i had to reload another hardcore save from the island after the jacket save for it to unlock, but still. i added those steps to the guide. thank you again!
