Ant Mk1 O.R.A.N.G.E Millitary Industries (1940)

In early 1940 with the Reich taking Poland and starting it's Blitzkrieg through France was a scary year for O.R.A.N.G.E, engineers settled for a whole year on making new models that could stop or at least blunt the Wehrmacht's spear from advancing deep on Ukraine, many designs were proposed for replacing aging vehicles, like the Moth Mk2 and Butterfly Mk2, also replacing the Worm Mk2.

During late April a new model was being tested, it was supposed to take the role of the Worm Mk2, but the results were rather different. There was a need of making the vehicle more armored and armed, both things this new proposal failed, but generals and engineers weren't completely down on accepting the new vehicle in other roles, the new vehicle opened a new field on O.R.A.N.G.E ranks with scouting options, and thus gaining itself a new name, the Ant Mk1.

The negociations were tough to say the least, as many of the interested traders with O.R.A.N.G.E were taken by the Reich or fighting for survival, Great Britain seemed interested, but not enough to take a handful of them, pack them and send them from the Black Sea to the island. Many of this models were sold to the USSR, who asked for about 300 of them, as for the main military corps, O.R.A.N.G.E had some 120 of them in the infantry and armored regiments. Divisions such as the Brown, White and Purple jackets used this machine on the defence of Kiev, the two divisions who escaped the encirclement were pushed back until a last stand with all avaliable O.R.A.N.G.E troops on the road to Sebastopol, home of the industry.

During german ocupation, they were forced to build Ants and many other models for the Wehrmacht and every O.R.A.N.G.E division was prohibited of being fielded.

Hello, it´s Rennid, and here i give you, a pretty cheap and useful machine, it's coaxial mg and cannon can do short work of infantry for less than most other O.R.A.N.G.E vehicles, but keep in mind, it can't withstand much punishment, also be careful when turning, this one has the problem of turning over.
