Description
UPDATED FOR 1.7 - Added 2 Fusion Reactor rooms. Increased the size of the shield room to accommodate all medium shield boosters. Small boosters can go on the ceiling in the hangar. There are also 6 dedicated slots for large shield boosters. Swapped Plasma Turrets & Artillery Cannons for Positron Weapons & Turrets. Added 3 Shield Capacitors & 1 Shield Charger.

The Soul Syphon NSC, is a version of the Soul Syphon that requires "No Special Cores". Meaning no auxiliary or quantum cores are required. However, that does mean there are some sacrifices, which you'll find in the form of agility loss.

At spawn, the Soul Syphon NSC is still agile, however, it's mobility is limited, and it will be more challenging to avoid incoming fire with the lower speeds. The goal of the Soul Syphon NSC was to give a strong combat ship available at 2.1M, that you could use to get your first quantum cores. You should be able to take on some of the Legacy CV’s in this ship. You could also get a few auxiliary cores to get started, which may be the easier route.

- 6 Positron Turrets & 3 Missile Turrets
- 5 Positron Manual Fire Weapons
- Full Xeno Hull
- Advanced Shield & Standard Warp Drive
- Upgrade Spacing for 83 total turrets, 21 total manual fire weapons, & 25 drive thrusters
- 9 Built-in Decoys

All updates are automatic as long as you don’t already have the BP in your factory.

Subscribed a few weeks ago but haven't put in factory yet, do the updates come automatically or do you have to delete and restart game.

Ok, another big update last night, this might be the last update of 1.7. Soul Syphon now has 2 rooms dedicated for Fusion Reactors, plus 2 currently installed Advanced Generators. With all generators installed, this ship can literally produce up to 1.21 gigawatts of power! Back to the Future, anyone? 😆

Also, the fusion reactor rooms each have a spot dedicated to add one more Advanced Generator. This will allow you to have a total of 4 Advanced Generators before having to add a Fusion Reactor.

Plus, there is now dedicated spacing for 6 of the large shield boosters. You can add 4 of the capacitor arrays, and up to 2 charger arrays.

BP UPDATED: This update was mostly cosmetic as I reworked the hangar area a bit, to fit 5 of the large shield boosters inside, along with all small & medium boosters. Only 1 large charger is needed, the other 4 large shield boosters should be capacitors, when you get to that point.

BP Updated Today! The lift thrusters on the bottom of each wing now have spacing to be upgraded to Drive Thrusters! This provides a nice boost to lift when fully loaded with ammo & cargo.

Additionally, a 2nd cockpit was added inside the hangar. This provides more options against tougher enemies.
