Hey Salmon. So the issue with AI jumping out is old. Pretty much any decent damage scares em out. The solution to keeping the AI from jumping out is disabling damage on the units and the vehicles. I used your comp for a mission and built a boss script for it, so after enough damage, everything just dies. It actually works great! Ill share more in the future!

Thats a shame.I guess it's just ARMA AI screwing up. you could just try in remove the crew inside of the manned weapons of the mech and just rely on the drone weapons?.I will do some testing for myself and see if I can replicate the same issue and try to update the construction so it works proparly .

I did something similar and faced with the same problem of crew jumping out. Try a series of mod called "QED UAV", which includes drone versions of vehicles. the problem is it doesn't work well when the vehicle is armed with more than 1 turret (like the tank has a main turret and a HMG on top of it)

try zeus enhanced with the remote control feature when you right click on a unit.

it doesn't work, you can't drive it or control it with zeus
