to fix Audio cuts you must have your settings: "other application focused: Keep running" and "Other application playing audio:: Keep running" thats atleast what worked for me

@Jeromeo Is just the audio going out or is the player stopping? Also how frequent would you say it cuts out? If you haven't already, try checking your playback settings in wallpaper engine. It's possible that what's happening is the wallpaper is being paused when you have another application focused or maximized.
