Description
Veridian is a mid-sized content mod focusing on yoyos, ammunition, ores, and equippables. The current version of the mod is 1.9.1 and runs on TML 1.4.4.9 v23.8.3.1.
1.9.7
*Ultra Hardsword crafting recipe reduced from 3 dragonflies to 1.
*Ultra Hardsword now has a damaging aura around it.
+Added Red's Multitool.
+Added Eye of Belial.
+Added Thresher.
>Heart of the Sea can now be crafted with Thresher.
+Added Gourd.


1.9.4
+Added Bent Spoon.
*Hotfixes.

*Fixed certain tooltips.

1.9.1 - hotfixes
* All yoyo strings should now function properly when right clicked. In addition, each one now has a unique color.
* Yoyos with custom string colors now use modded colors instead of vanilla.
* Hematoma has been slightly nerfed. It was sort of busted.
> reach decreased from 12(7) to 10.5(6).
> broken armor chance cut in half.
* Amazon leaf frequency increased.

*Tropical Trawler - buff
> now gains a small power boost when the player is underwater.
*Amazon - buff
> now occasionally fires weaker Blade of Grass projectiles.
*Ashen Yoyo - rework
> ember damage changed from 20% to 3 flat. This is a slight buff with bad modifiers and a nerf with positive ones.
*Heatwave - nerf
> fire debuff duration decreased from 2-4 seconds to 1-3.5 seconds.
> ember chance decreased from 1/3 to 1/4.
*Cascade - buff
> now fires embers.
*Riptide - buff
> now shoots damaging bubbles.
*Moulder - buff
> now inflicts Gangrene instead of Cursed Inferno.
> slow debuff duration changed from 2-4 seconds to 2-6 seconds.
*Glass Throw - rework
> crafting recipe increased from 15 glass to 20 glass and 1 waterleaf.
> damage decreased from 8 to 7 and now fires a slightly stronger glass shard. This makes it better for crowd control at the slight cost of single-target effectiveness.
> now benefits from glass armor set bonus.
*Viscera - buff
> now inflicts Gangrene.
*Sanguine - buff
> base damage reduced from 42 to 40.
> healing effect increased from 1/15 to 1/10.
> healing chance increased from 1/4 to 1/2.
*All vanilla yoyos now have the proper maximum range values internally. This eliminates some funky interactions such as the Amarok and Hel-fire having the same intended range but having almost a half-block offset.

*Tome of Andromeda - nerf
> now only pierces twice instead of five times.
*Starfury - rework
> damage decreased from 25 to 22.
> sometimes spawns weak stars when attacking with the blade itself.
*Sharkfin Shooter - buff
> damage increased from 20 to 21
> use speed increased from 18 to 17.

-Removed Glass arrow.
*Wither ammo - rework
> now craftable 25 at a time instead of 50 and 70.
> now pierce two enemies.
*Necro Bullet - buff
> damage increased from 10 to 11.
> now pierces one enemy like its counterpart the bone arrow.
*Honey ammo - buff
> bee damage increased from 15% to 20%. They can now penetrate 3 times as opposed to 2.
> wasp damage reduced from 35% to 33%. They can now penetrate 5 times as opposed to 3.
*Crimson ammo - rework
> no longer heals the player when damaging Target Dummies or critters.
> healing effect increased from 1/20 to 1/10.
> healing chance reduced from 1/2 to 1/3.
> varicose chance increased from 1/3 to 1/2.
> varicose duration increased from 2-4 seconds to 3-5 seconds.
*Incendiary Round - buff
> now spawn embers similar to Ashen Yoyo or Ashen Arrow.
*All arrow and bullet types now emit particles upon being destroyed.

*Slime armor - buff
> crafting total reduced from 90 Gel to 66.
*Electrum armor - fix
> now properly applies +2% critical strike set bonus.
*Chromium armor - fix
> now properly applies +4% critical strike set bonus.
*Sour armor - change
> now crafted with pink gel instead of amethyst.
*Grehn armor - buff
> now has a passive regeneration boost as well as the on-hit boost.
*Andog armor - buff
> now converts musket balls and wooden arrows into incendiary rounds and ashen arrows, respectively.
*Redman armor - buff
> now grants a dash ability.

-Deadeye deprecated for now.
*Varicose - nerf
> DoT reduced from 12 to 9 (3 per tick). This makes it slightly better than Frostburn (8 DPS).
> skeletal enemies, the Destroyer, and Vampires are now immune.
*Shark Bite - nerf
> DoT reduced from 9 to 6 (3 per tick).
> Jellyfish and Sharks are now immune to Shark Bite.
*Sharkron Bite - nerf
> DoT reduced from 18 to 15 (5 per tick).
> Sharkrons and Duke Fishron are now immune to Sharkron Bite (and Shark Bite).
*Epiphora - nerf
> attack speed boost decreased from 20% to 10%.

*Bismuth and Veridian Candles now have proper flames when being held.
*Candles, Candelabras, and Chandeliers have proper flame sprites when placed.
> manganese chandelier flame changed to red.
> chromium chandelier flame changed to violet.
*Nickel, Electrum, Rhodium, and Veridian items now all have consistent sprite colors themes.

* Some enemies now inflict Varicose.

1.8.2 - The Sprite Update ctd.
*Most of the remaining tiles, ores, and equipment sprites have been updated. Credit to Tungsten_OpFor.
> Some have been marginally modified to fall more in line with my original intentions. I'd say it's an 85/15 split in that regard.

1.7.13 - WorldGen Hotfixes
*Custom drunk world gen fixed. They should all work as intended now.
*Bismuth Broadsword hilt colour changed slightly.



It is updated frequently - however updates are seldom large and I tend to push a handful of small fixes or additions to the workshop at a time.

Currently the mod adds:

- 30+ Yoyos, each with unique methods of obtainment and effects
- 30+ Ammo types with special effects
- 60+ Accessories, including 13 zodiacs and 21 unique yoyo strings
- 50+ other weapons
- 19 Armour sets
- 15 sets of Tools
- 11 Bars and 10 respective Ore types
- 10 Status Effects
- 2 NPCs

The mod also has various vanilla balance changes and tweaks.

This mod started as a yoyo-based mod called Verde's Yoyos and has since grown into what it is today. I am the only developer and have no formal programming experience so some things may not work 100% as expected. If you experience anything like this, simply report it to me either on Steam or my Discord.

I had considered it, but AltLib isn't going to happen for a while, if at all. It would require me to fully rewrite the entire code in order to work, and even then it's missing features that I use to make each one function differently. They aren't straight vanilla reskins, unfortunately

You should integrate the mod into Alternatives Library, it allows you to change the custom ores when creating a new world instead of having to go to the mod configuration menu. It also allows compability with other mods that add alternative ores.

It isn't supposed to, but it is supposed to shimmer into stone, which is now fixed.
