Recently, a series of new standardized metro trains made an appearance at the 2021 Beijing International Urban Rail Transit exhibition and Summit Forum. They are aim to make parts inside the metro train replaceable and transferable between the same type of metro. While I don't have the diagram/specification data for those new standardized metro trains, I still able to make something resemble China standardized metro trains.

According to "GB 50157-2013", "GB/T51263-2017", "DBJ50/T-259-2017" and "GB/T 37532-2019", metro train in China can be classified as Type A, Type AS, Type AH, Type B, Type C and Type D.

If the train accelerates too fast or the top speed is too high, you can adjust the ratio of powered cars or apply a speed limiter.



China Type A metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type A
Length per car: ~23m
Max Speed: 130km/h / 180km/h
Max passenger per car: 310
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars, 2 Cars

China Type B metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type B
Length per car: ~20m
Max Speed: 130km/h / 180km/h
Max passenger per car: ~240
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars, 2 Cars

China Type AS metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type AS
Length per car: ~20m
Max Speed: 130km/h
Max passenger per car: ~250
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars

China Type AH metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type AH
Length per car: ~20m
Max Speed: 130km/h
Max passenger per car: ~250
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars

China Type C-Ⅰ metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type C-I
Length per car: ~19.5m
Max Speed: 130km/h
Max passenger per car: 230
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars

China Type D metro train
In-game name: China Metro Type D
Length per car: ~23m
Max Speed: 180km/h
Max passenger per car: ~220
Recommended train formation: 3-8 Cars, 3/4 + 3/4 Cars



Recommended combination of cruise speed and speed limiter:
target top speed → speed limiter
160 → (no speed limiter needed)
140 → 160/150
120 → 130/120
100 → 100
80 → 80

Be noticed that you can not remove the speed limiter after you purchased the train.
