T selection is completely random and based on a sliding curve of player count.
I'd be interested in hearing more about it being too slow and why you think that is.
The land mines are intended for comedic effect and have a chance of survival. The most recent update also spawns only the basic amount necessary per player and marks them on the map. Last, I added more bandages for players to revive each other after detonating accidentally.
As for name tags, that is an issue I am currently working on and trying to create a way to not use Squad's default name tags, unfortunately UI is very tough to mod in squad without breaking lots of stuff :) Thanks for playing, and hope to see you around!
For reference: I have 500+ hours on TTT(mostly GMOD). I played with a group of (~20). I am also aware that the mod is a work in progress so realize any of these "issues" could be fixed by the time you read this.
Takeaway: Game mode is too slow, I shouldn't be able to see the traitor through walls, and credits should be more reliable to get. Land mines also shouldn't kill you and should be less numerous. I got one T round in two hours.
Despite this It was a fun experience and I would play again but not frequently. I do hope this mod is improved over time.
