Description
This mod changes the Ottoman Civilization trait and their leader, Suleiman.

The Ottomans have always been a particularly weak country. Its combat bonuses got overshadowed by the Mongols and Macedon. Its other bonuses weren't particularly good either. And his governor unlock should not be the whole trait.

So I decided to rework the Ottomans to be a lot stronger and be good for trade as well.

Exclusive unique Governor with military and diplomatic abilities.

All units receive +5 Combat Strength during a Golden Age. (NEW)

Domestic Trade Routes gain +4 Gold and +2 Production for every Strategic resource in the destination. (NEW)

Gain the Janissary unique unit from Gunpowder.

The Kanun

Land Combat Units fighting within 4 tiles of your borders receive +5 Combat Strength. (NEW)

Conquered cities do not lose Population.

+50% Production towards siege units.

Receive a Governor Title everytime you conquer a city with a Palace or a Wonder. (NEW)

A building unique to the Ottomans.

Provides +5 Gold, +3 Culture (NEW)

+1 Trade Route Capacity (NEW)

Accumulate 1 extra Strategic resource for every different type or Strategic resource this city has improved

Receive 1 Amenity for every Luxury resource this city has improved.

Janissary

Starts with a free promotion.

To train a Janissary a city must have a population of at least 2.

If a city is founded by the Ottomans and trains a Janissary it loses a population.

in my opinion it's better to remove that ability. the Janissary is already OP in the original one your mod even put steroids on those beasts so the ability that makes them can be duplicated themself will make it look like alien invasion forces rather than a renaissance melee unit.
thank for the mod tho i have fun with Ottoman even there are 14 Janissary there

@green tea is life, Yeah I had the same problem in a recent game I played. Do you think I should just remove the ability?

this is great mod but the Janissary ability that convert enemy Civilizations Melee units into Janissaries are too powerful its turn the map in to a Janissary plague pandemic can you do some thing about this?

@Enki I don't know, it probably won't be incompatible but Civilizations Expanded may overwrite this mod in gameplay.

In the civ ability, you spelled within as withing. That's really my only nitpick. This is a great mod. A great alternative to Captain Lime's Ottoman rework, which doesn't work (at least for me). :)
