Description
Take control of a pre-independence America as you struggle to unify and prove yourself worthy of nationhood. This civ is under the leadership of Benjamin Franklin, sometimes called "The First American." While he never formally led the colonies or the United States, he was a highly influential Founding Father and perhaps the biggest advocate of unity among the Colonies. His work with the Postal Service and his Join or Die campaign helped bring together likeminded intellectuals across British America and popularize the sentiment that these lands were more than just colonies.

UA: Join or Die - Units and Defensive Buildings are cheaper in cities with a City Connection. City Connections provide +5% Culture per each city connected to the capital.

UU: Colonial Militia - Replaces the Musketman. Receives a free promotion based on its home city. Receives an additional powerful promotion if that city has a City Connection.

UB: Post Office - Replaces the Observatory. Requires Printing Press. Requires a City Connection instead of a mountain. In addition to the effects of the Observatory, the Post Office provides +1 Science for each incoming/outgoing Trade Route in this city.

The Thirteen Colonies' strategy is laid out in the name of the UA: Join or Die. City Connections are absolutely critical to maintaining a technological, cultural, and military edge over your rivals. So while it may be tempting to spew out cities everywhere you can find, make sure you are putting them in places where you can connect them as soon as possible!

Brilliant. Love it. This might be the first American civ I can stand to play (aside from New Vegas).
Outstanding for both tall and wide play. Should make for a fun game to play as or against.
The turkey emblem and the leader being Benjamin Franklin just seal the deal for me.

One day, I will find a civ on the workshop that is not completely OP.

Sorry, but this is not showing up on YNAEMP (v25) Giant Earth map using TSL only. It can be accessed using a random start, however.
