Through-Track Cargo Hub

Description
This is a modification of the standard vanilla Cargo Hub. This is only possible because of Ferretwind’s excellent “Static Vanilla Cargo Hub”. I couldn’t have reverse-engineered the original Cargo Hub on my own.

My first change was to replace the small, two-lane road with a medium, four-lane road with decorative trees. This road was modified to work with harbors.

The more important change was to replace the train tracks with tracks modified to prevent trains from reversing course when leaving the station. That is, a train going into the station from the left must leave the station from the right; the trains cannot back up and leave the same way that they came.

This is a niche application, I’ll admit. But, sometimes the traffic is better if I force the trains to use a nice big loop outside of the hub. In addition, this hub handles extra-long trains better than the vanilla hub.

Aside from the custom track and road, all credit goes to Ferretwind.

Note: To avoid the creation of the track-crossing/direction-changing junction at the ends of the track, you should only connect an elevated track to this station. It doesn’t need to be a long section; you just don’t want to connect anything else directly to this station.

@meriadoc.hobbit -- Any idea why this is over 19MB in size? Something's gotta be off.

Thank you for the tip. I’ll keep it in mind in the future. I've only started playing with the Network Multitool, and haven't yet come across the ‘unlock‘ feature.

This could be achieved in game with 3 clicks of the Network Multitool mod + the one way train track asset and the road. Network Multitool has a feature that is a replication of the Touch This! mod in which you click a button and then click the network built into this asset (in this case the train track and the road) to 'unlock' them and then you can use the normal upgrade button to change the network to whatever you want just like a normally placed road
