how do you get vehicles in the other skins shown in the images? Is something broken with the mod? As funny as the mostly busted vehicle is, those other versions look really cool, and it'd be nice to be able to use them.

The website for donations doesn't even work :/

What is even more funny is that their donate button doesn't even work, and was hard to reach in the first place.

What they should have done was use an embedded button directly in the Steam mod description, and put it in every single mod they made, not make in an implied payment for skins specifically for these trucks.

Comrade Sky, there is nothing wrong with asking for donations, what i am criticizing here is releasing incomplete mods and making people have to pay you to release the complete version of it. That comparasion would only make sence if the music player played like half a minute of the song and said «if you want me to keep playing you have to pay for it»

Red, I have spent hundreds of hours myself and not asked for money, but I do not blame anyone that asks for donations. Many people that do this end up going into it as a career, and sometimes that means official releases for devs, and sometimes that means we get free mods and assets with the option to donate that we otherwise wouldn't have. I don't know why you would ever find it necessary to insult someone for asking for some tips for sharing their art. Do you also insult people that play music at subway stations and happen to have a tip jar?

Modding is more of an hobby, not a job. Mods should be made because you like of doing them and you like to share your work. If you want to earn money with doing models and textures then go work for a game developing company. And quite funny of you to call arrogant to someone when you are being arrogant as well.

1.It always irritates me when stupidity is combined with arrogance.
2. To call someone greedy, who had already shared hundreds of hours of work with the community for free, is not only nonsense but simply vile.
I know quite well this "kind of person" who's professing the same like you, but I'm a polite person, so I'd like to ask what do you think, what kind of jobs are those for which no one should get paid, And what gives you the right to claim something you did not make yourself? (or to get outraged if you don’t get it?) And do you seriously think that if something exists then it automatically have to get it?

Nobody is dennying you appreciation, quite the contrary. Many other modders work for this community however none is asking for real money to release some skins. You sure look like EA or another greedy company who wants the player to spend real money on skis and other stuff. And again many other modders do quality mods and dont ask for no money to release some skins that should be provided since the start. And if you work and you brag yourself about how much you make in a matter of hours then i wouldnt say that you are in need of money, so you are just acting greedy.

You seem quite mad, chill

Well then, let's be honest with each other, "Comrade"!
1. If you get something for free, the most you can do, is say thank you! Otherwise if you don’t like the gift, keep going and don’t bluster, demand or report!
2. If one does hundreds of hours of free work for the community, I think he can rightly expect some appreciation, in whatever form. No one, however, is obligated to do anything!
3. What we give to the community is only up to us!
4. Creating a model of this quality (+ texture) takes at least 20-30 hours. In return, we only want the support of 20 people. Well, I’m earning that amount in my workplace in a matter of hours, so it’s weak even for drink-money!
