Description
Small, quick, fuel efficient police car with hybrid drivetrain.

I present to you my imitation of the Toyota Prius.
This car is part of the Stormworks Police Department. It has great on-road capabilities. Realistic behavior, lockable cabin for prisoners transport, a few useful functions. It is simple to use and only costs $22.300. Enjoy my creation.

Basic info:
  • Top speed 165 km/h.
  • 428 L fuel capacity.
  • Lockable doors.
  • Automatic headlights.
  • Realistic drivetrain and gearbox behavior
  • 4xE - Front wheels driven only by petrol engine, rear wheels driven only by electric motors.
  • Onboard computers.
  • Cab for 2 police men and 2 prisoners.
  • 1.0 equipment
  • Auto A/C
  • Strobe lights and search light
  • Refueling and recharging connectors.
  • ABS - Anti-lock brake system. Prevents the wheels from locking during braking.
  • Adaptive steering - the faster you go, the less you steer, for a smooth driving.

Operating with gearbox:
Gearbox is realistic automatic. Keep in mind you should be always braking when you change gears IRL. The car will not allow you change speed when pressing W

1. You start the car
2. You hit brakes (S)
3. You change the gear lever position by Up/Down.

Shifting pattern is:
  • P - Parking position. Parking brake is engaged.
  • R - Reverse position.
  • N - Neutral position. Parking brake isnt engaged and car can move independent of the engine.
  • D - Forward drive position.

4. You release brakes, and you can go.

Drive-mode screen:
  • EV - car drives only on electric motors until its less than 20% of the battery left, then it automaticaly switches to gas engine
  • Gas - car drives only on petrol engine and charges battery
  • Hybrid - car drives on electric motors 0-90 kmh and on gas engine 90+ kmh
  • Power - car drives on both engines and can reach up to 160 kmh

Lights:
  • Automatic headlights - lights are set to auto by default, they will light up automaticaly according to the time of day. You can manualy control them on display behind the steering wheel on the left.
  • Welcome lights - the car will greet you by turning on the lights when you come close to the car at night, so you can find the door handle and get in. Welcome lights will not be working when you manually set headlights to OFF.
  • Smart interior lights - they will turn on when you open the doors, and they will remain turned on 10 seconds after you close the doors.

W/S - throttle
A/D - steering
Up/Down - gear selector
1 - Left blinker
2 - Hazard lights
3 - Right blinker

I probably won't do either of those since I don't find the game enjoyable anymore, because of the devs. Read the review on my main profile, if you wish to know more.
