[BAD] Woofless Puck guide to being Pesky!
By Vicious Sid
So, first off all, I would like to thank you for reading this guide. I find Puck an amazing character. Puck has such dominance in lane if used correctly. So, I would like to make a guide to explain how I play him, as I have a 83% win rate with Puck. Enjoy :)

So first, lets talk about the items you should consider buying or buy when playing Puck. For the starting items, you should invest in a Mantle of Intelligence to improve your last hitting power and overall mana pool. You should also go for 3 Iron Branches to help with the survivability and a little bit more last hit power. Also, I highly recommend both sorts of healing (Healing Salves and Tangos) because Puck is extremely fragile, and will take a lot of damage. In the early game, you should buy a bottle as soon as possible. This will give you good rune control and it will help to keep your mana and health up, so you don't get ganked and killed easily. Remember, always bring the courier to you and give your bottle to the courier. Bring it back to base and bring it back to you. This will refill the bottle. The next thing to get in the early game is boots, just like other heroes, you really want to move around the map faster. A magic wand is also good because it helps you keep your mana up. It also reduces the space those branches are taking up, as it combines 3 into one. It also allows for great juking in the game, leaving your opponent amazed :). Later, core items, a blink dagger is a MUST HAVE for Puck. This is because the phase shift time is 3.25 seconds at level 4, and a blink dagger has a cooldown of 3 seconds after being attacked. This will allow Puck to phase shift, and when the dagger recharges, blink out right away. A Scythe of Vyse is also quite amazing on Puck. This allows for the great disable and amazing teamfight ability. Linkens Sphere is a amazing item on Puck, as it will increase his survivability and help him block out damage. In the situational items, a Dagon is an item I always get, however, people sometimes don't. This is because it depends on the opponents line up. Dagon is an item that has a lot of pure damage (at level 5 has 800 pure damage.) This well help with kills on low health heroes, or just burning down the tankier heroes. I also put in a Shiva's Guard because it will help in teamfights which Puck is pretty dang good at. It also helps with extra damage, slows etc. A Eul Scepter of Divinity is an item usually picked up with Puck. This helps in both offensive and defensive ways. First of all, you can suspend yourself in the air, allowing your phase shift and blink to recharge, allowing you to escape. You can also use it on enemies to pretty much take out one of their heroes when teamfighting for a few seconds.

Next, on to the abilities. Some people like to get orb first, and that is perfectly fine. However, I don't recommend a level one Waning Rift though, as you won't be able to get close to them early game, as Puck is very fragile. Getting phase of orb first literally depends on the enemies/enemy in your lane. For example, heroes like Alchemist, Chaos Knight, Sven, who have spells that are easily dodged get extremely annoyed by Puck, as Puck will just phase shift, as they have waisted a spell. People who have slow auto attacks like Death Prophet or QOP also get annoyed by Puck, as their auto attacks can be very easily dodged. Orb is for when you are in a lane with someone that can last hit better than you, for example, Sniper or Viper. These people will out last hit and deny you, so getting orb to take those last hits is quite important.

Thank you for reading my guide! Any comments and recommendations are very much appreciated.
