Basically, this an unofficial copy and single .exe installer for the official FixItAll Steam page of Max Payne 2 seen here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1315235623
It basically compiles everything that that page shows you in order to perfect your Max Payne 2 playthrough to an excellent visual experience without going through the hassle of manually installing it yourself. Also recommended for new players.

Installation

Just go to the link provided below and download the file archive from Mediafire,



(Note: Make sure to copy only some of the URL to your clipboard as shown in the image above and paste it into your search bar to get to the link. My apologies for the inconvenience as Valve for some reason labeled the raw URL as malware, removing my ability to post it here without a bypass method.)

Then extract the archive to somewhere safe and recognizable onto your desktop. Open it and read the read me if you choose to, then proceed to run the .exe file included and navigate to your official Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne directory when prompted. After that, click 'ok' and install.

It is also heavily recommended to make a backup of your vanilla Max Payne 2 game because you will have to replace a few files for the mod to function correctly. With this in mind, uninstalling the mod if you don't like what you see will be a piece of cake, simply copying the original non-modded files you backed up and replacing it in the modded directory back to your default liking.

Sorry, but I’m no longer working on guide. I actually forgot I even made this. There’s more detailed information regarding tweaking and installing the fix that you can find on PCGamingWiki however, so I would recommend that instead.

There’s no actual virus, but your antivirus software might false flag the contained files because it requires administrative permissions to modify your game’s directory.
