Useful commands that fix visual and audio-based bugs in TF2.

record fix;stop - A command (well technically 2 commands.) It fixes floating cosmetics, missing demo legs and pyro heads. Stuff like that.) The go-to command for fixing things in general.

snd_restart - A command that restarts the sound. Hate a map sound or a heavy that is constantly firing next to a dispenser? More importantly did you recently die wile underwater or with full uber and still have the sound effects of being underwater or having full uber still playing? This fixes that.

hud_reloadscheme - Ever change teams or something and have your hud/arms remain looking like the other team? Use this command. Bonus: sometimes removes text that some servers place on your screen… until the server places it again.

---

Now here`s where the fix-all button concept comes in. All these commands can be bined to a single key on the keyboard. Simply copy and past this into the console in TF2:

bind key "record fix;stop;snd_restart;hud_reloadscheme"

(replace key with whatever key you want. Names of all keyboard keys: https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Scripting#List_of_key_names useful for binding the key to stuff on the numpad.)

That line of text can also be placed in the autoexec.cfg file found in \Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg. Last thing worth noting is when using the fix-all button the game will freeze for about 3 seconds depending on how good the computer is.

Remove fix-all button

To remove this keybind put unbind and then the key in console. Example:
unbind i
If you used a key that already has a use, like the call-medic key, go into option, then the keyboard tab and then re-setup the key.

"r_flushlod" crashes your game sometimes if you using mods or something. It's not particularly remarkable, I don't think it's needed.
The only thing I will suggest is to move "snd_restart;hud_reloadscheme" to the middle of the command, and not leave it to the right, and I get "record fix;snd_restart;hud_reloadscheme;stop".

you should probably also add r_flushlod to this fix all button i have it as well and it fixes alot of lighting and sometimes texture issues

You are either using pyroland cosmetics or halloween cosmetics which will only show for you.

Is there a way to see cosmetics. There is a bug where I can see my friend's cosmetics but not vise versa, he can't see mine. Is there a fix for that?

hud_reloadscheme doesn't work for me with this method. I still have to press F11 for that.

Its unbelievable how versatile this command is, seriously. I have been playing TF2 since 2012, and every single time i had an issue, this fixed it

you can also type 'alias fixall "record fix;stop;snd_restart;hud_reloadscheme" ' so when you type "fixall" in console, it runs these commands.
