4-3-3 Quadruple winning possession tactic Poetry in Motion

Description
The aim of the tactic is to dominate possession whilst pushing the ball vertically through the lines. In order to do this, it's crucial to create overloads giving the ball carrier options all over the pitch.

The 4-3-3 is the go-to formation as this provides natural passing options all over the pitch. The set-up creates triangles and diamonds all over pitch meaning the ball can be moved quickly and easily even under severe pressure. The false 9 is used to overcome the lack of a number 10 to link the play between the midfield and attack. His movement also pulls defenders out of position opening space for the Mezzala's and Inside forwards to attack.

In the build-up phase the centre backs, dm and goalkeeper form a diamond. The centre backs split wider whilst the DLP comes deeper, this allows the ball to be rotated quickly around the diamond with the purpose of pulling the opponent into a higher press. This opens up the space to advance the ball vertically think Napoli from 2015-2018.

If teams commit high to prevent the ball from moving into the DLP and centre backs, the out ball becomes the wingbacks who push high and wide providing the angle for GK to play the diagonal ball.

Without the ball

The defence pushes up high to squeeze the opposition making the pitch smaller. Preventing gaps to appear between the initial pressing forwards and the defensive line. Having players committed to the final 3rd makes it easier to counter-press with the aim of winning the ball back as quickly as possible. Using cover shadows helps the press by cutting off the passing options, making opponents either have to pass back or kick the ball long.

I have been playing with this tactic since I posted the last comment. I have changed the striker to a Deep Lying Forward (if my translation is correct). This has given me better results in offensive moments.
Besides that, I have changed nothing about the tactic. The pressure during defensive moments is very good, while your team won't get many cards. Great tactic!

PolterGijs - Sounds very good.

This tactic works quite well on my lower league saves. For instance I am getting Ijsselmeervogels from the Dutch 3rd Tier all the way to the highest level. Lost to Benfica with 3-0 or more with other tactics, this tactic gave me a 1-1 or a 2-1 loss most of the time. My Ijsselmeervogels team is rated lowest of all Dutch highest tier clubs, so this says something right?
