Improved Khalida

Description
Ever since the Tomb Kings were added to the game, Khalida has been well behind the other three Legendary Lords in terms of her personal power. The other three are all casters, which allows them to impact the battlefield in much larger ways than a fairly ordinary melee lord ever could. This mod aims to change that up a bit.


General list of changes:

Venom Wave has been changed from 3 uses to unlimited uses, has been converted to AP damage, and now only recharges while in melee.
The Venom Staff ability now has 6 uses and a lowered cooldown.
Khalida's skills now apply a custom poison effect that includes damage over time.
The Necroserpent mount has been given siege attacker, strider, and significantly increased mass.
Khalida has a new custom skill that increases the hero cap for Necrotects and increases their recruit rank.
Khalida's unique boosts to Skeleton Archers now also apply to Ushabti Greatbows.
The skill Embodiment of Asaph has an additional effect that lowers the cooldowns of Khalida's unique abilities.
The skill Warrior-Queen gives additional physical resistance.
Khalida's unique item, the Venom Staff, has been given stats appropriate to a Legendary Lord's weapon.

Hello. Really loved this mod and played countless Khalida campaigns thanks to it. Any chance this could be ported to wh3 since you've already done a mod for this part?

First, sorry for posting "it doesn't work" before I even tried with any other mods enabled. It was stupid.

Then, I found the culprit: "Less buff and effect VFX" (a mod with 15,000 subscribers, essential if you are allergic to the orgy of shiny pixels).

Fortunately, I found a mod that does the same thing, without compatibility issues, if anyone is interested: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2517285885

Do you have any other mods on that might be changing Venom Wave? Because it still works fine for me.

Doesn't work. Venom wave are limited at 3 uses.

Forget that comment i was just stupid thinking the lvl 2 overwrote the stuff from lvl 1.

The lvl 2 rank of Lybaras' Best only seems to affect the skeleton archers instead of both the skeletons and ushabi

I had already been considering making only recharge in melee, so I went ahead and did it.

After trying it a bit.. the new venom wave seems to be a bit more than just changing a bit of damage from normal to AP, I get a 100 kills per use. While it was quite underwhelming before, this might be a bit overtuned. Perhaps moderate it a little, and/or change recharge to recharging only while fighting.

(Seeing as it's originally a 'get out of bad fights' ability, recharge while fighting seems ideal.).

This seems a reasonable upgrade as long as the necroserpent doens't suddenly have the mass of a mammoth. It should be a good bit more than a horse, though.

Quick question - if you've already started a campaign, can you still apply this or do you have to start a new campaign?
