This is a track mod that's specially made for my ETR2.0 (and future maglev trains).
I've made this because the standard SCmaglev they use in Japan is too narrow, that one can only handle 2.9m wide trains, while this one can handle 3.4m wide trains.

3.4 meters is not an arbitrary number I chose, no. I chose 3.4m because this is a standard among high speed trains in countries with newer or seperately build rail networks, like Japan, China, the US, etc.


Textures for this mod are a wider version of my SCmaglev mod, and as always: 100% custom.

A unique feature my mods have: it **automatically** decides on where to put a viaduct / tunnel border, depending on how far away the next bit of track is. Standard double track now only has outer borders!!

Price:
Ground = 7 000 000
Ground crossing: 1 000 000
Viaduct = 12 000 000
Tunnel = 18 000 000
Stations = x12 (standard is x10)

You get a 500kph track once your track radius is >8000m, 600kph = >10000m

Q: Why is the train and its track so expensive?

I intend maglev to be used only in the very late game. Maglev is very expensive to build and maintain in real life, and only build between places having very very high demand. This mod aims to give you the same experience in nimby.


If you look to make a train mod for this track, feel free to do it!
If you make one, aim for a train width of 116 pixels.

these are amazing, the only caveat is when build a station the tracks "collide" at the scissor intersection so loop terminals are necessary
