ERF EC15 4x2 Tractor Unit

This is my recreation of an ERF EC15 4x2 Tractor Unit. The ERF EC Series was introduced in 1993 and continued to be manufactured till 2000. This lorry has a 1999 Caterpillar C15. It is a 15 litre straight 6 cylinder engine that produces 550 HP, This was the first C15 which came out in 1999 which is the same year as the pacific truck i have recreated, the modern C15 has a ACERT (Advanced Combustion Emissions Reduction Technology). . The idea is to run the engine lean and mean-lots of boost, lots of compression, and precise injection events to make the C15 use fuel as efficiently as possible. Fitted to the Cat is an Eaton Fuller 16 Speed Transmission. The Cab is an Olympic which was the bigger alternative cab to the Celect cab. Bit hare sleeper cabs but the Olympic had an additional bed.
