Built-in options for edge smoothing.. Are ass. FXAA is blurry, TAA is blurrier.

This injected preset contains an SMAA shader, set to the maximum, accompanied by a sharpen shader to offset the SMAA blurring. The difference in clarity between smoothing options off and these two shaders enabled should be identical.

Also included is a chromatic aberration shader because I'm obsessed with color fringe. That can be disabled. 'home'.

Extract the archive files to the following directory,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Death Stranding

If the ReShade crashes the game, you need to download the latest version of ReShade and update the preset. In that case, download and move the installer to the exe directory. Run the executable, choose update, skip to download shader files, etc. Only update.

If you have the game installed to a different directory or drive, you must edit the ReShade.ini file to reflect that.

Rename to DS.ini. Sorry, will not instruct how to get my SMAA and other settings working with his other .ini. Make sure you also follow his instructions and download the other effect files and such required.

The game may crash or present visual errors with RT enabled. To fix this..

Turn off RT in reshade menu/overlay, make sure anti-aliasing options in menu are disabled, but turn off ambient occlusion(or any desired post FX setting you DO want enabled). boot game up, enable reshade RT, then re-enable menu/game ambient occlusion. Save settings.

Do not save settings again. The visual errors will return, you will have to relaunch, redo the process over.

Sorry. Cannot provide RT files. You will have to acquire those yourself.
