The fundamental idea to understand the changes for this mod is to ask yourself: "Did it feel like I am missing *modded thing* when playing vanilla Rimworld?". This is what makes me download mods, finding that one thing that I felt like the game was missing. Clutter, retextures of existing items and unbalanced gimmicks weren't any of them.
Because I am a vanilla player, even if some others may claim to be too without really meaning it.

Feel free to discuss and provide feedback on the changes, recommend adjustments, and report errors and warnings in the comments. Criticism is welcome.

Summary of changes and explanations: https://pastebin.com/CrEv40Z1

In the future I would like to see some of the removed items restored by turning them into texture variants for existing items based on either the Ideology style system, Quality Of Building, or Vanilla Textures Expanded - Variations.

Known Issues:
- Technically compatible with CE: The patches for Furniture - Security, Armour, Weapons, Coilguns and Quickdraw are not applied if CE is detected. This leaves CE to patch them with its own mechanics, at the cost of no debloating for those modules. However, CE remains fundamentally incompatible with Rimworld's game design .
- Errors similar to "Could not load reference to Verse.JobDef named Play_Roulette" will appear on just the first load with this mod, but they are safe to ignore.
- Other issues specific to each mod are noted in the above pastebin link.

Notes:
- All dependencies for this mod are optional, but you must still respect their own dependencies.
- Must be loaded after all the Vanilla Expanded mods and any other mod for which a compatibility patch is mentioned in the pastebin.
- Recommended to use a visual research tree mod to amend the confusing connections between modded research nodes. Eg https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1266570759

Some mods suck, though, and need other mods to try to fix them.

@Sarg Bjornson, here's a thought: A butcher workbench bill. "Fillet Fish." Converts fish into a generic fish-fillet meat object. You'd lose the type of fish it came from, maybe some material, but you'd be able to collapse it into easier stockpiled objects then.

Bonus: Secondary products could be generated, such as fish scales, fish heads (good food for pets and prisoners, and maybe a fish ingredient), etc.
