The following locations can only be accessed with the Automatron add-on installed.Requires player character to be level 15 to start playing.The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth,including the devious robobrain.Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. The Fort Hagen hangar is a sub-location of the Fort Hagen satellite array in the Commonwealth in 2287.The outer array and the hangar is controlled by the Rust Devils.The hangar trapdoor is unlocked by first using a terminal in the upper wooden structures of the outer compound.The terminal only appears after starting the quest Headhunting.During the quest Headhunting,the player character must fight their way to a robobrain known as Jezebel.When found,Jezebel is just a robobrain head attached to a computer.Jezebel tells the Sole Survivor she will help with defeating the Mechanist in return for getting her out of the satellite array and finding her a new body.

The Mechanist's lair,formerly the United States of America Robotics Technology Facility RB-2851,is a location and settlement in The Commonwealth in 2287.The lair is located on the map slightly north of the East Boston Preparatory School.It is behind an unmarked building,and near a warehouse by a bridge and a small wharf.A freight elevator inside the building (enter the door named "garage") will take the Sole Survivor directly to the underground location.Upon completion of the add-on,the location becomes a new settlement.

The building's front entrance is not far from Boston Airport,and upon entering, it appears as a showroom for a number of RobCo-brand terminals,most of which have been destroyed.A service desk stands in front of the north wall,next to which is a doorway marked with an "employees only" sign,with a laser tripwire just beyond.Following the corridor leads to a basement area containing an expert-locked door leading outside, although the key is on top of a filing cabinet right next to it.On the opposite wall is a "strange device" which can only be activated during the quest Restoring Order,and opens an elaborate doorway leading to the Mechanist's lair.

L'ingresso principale dell'edificio non è lontano dall'aeroporto di Boston e,entrando,appare come uno showroom per una serie di terminal del marchio RobCo,la maggior parte dei quali sono stati distrutti.
