EpsTweak for Starting Settlers

Description
EpsTweak is a series of small mods that tweak the balance of Civ 6. Rather than put all of them into one hefty package, I've split them into small fragments to allow you to make your own custom rulesets.

How many times have you had starting settle regret?... Okay, I guess it would be easier to answer the number of times you didn't have starting settle regret. Pretty much all of the Civilization games have this thing where they insist on you settling within only a few tiles of the spawn location they give you, or wasting turns. But does it really need to be that way? Would it really break the game if you had some extra leeway to pick your capital's location on turn 1?

I certainly don't think so, and as such, I've made this little script that supercharges each player's starting Settler on turn 1, giving it 6 movement points and revealing all tiles within a 6-radius of it. This gives you a lot more information on your starting area, and more options for where you want to start.

Such a simple change, yet saves on so much headache!

I guess it's a little late for suggestions but it would also be neat if the very first settler could also embark

Nevermind, I just forgot that saved configurations (not JUST saved games) were mod-locked, so it wasn't loading at all.

No changes in the last year.

Did something change in the last year that broke this? My settlers (GS, Poundmaker) aren't getting any boosts.

Amazing mod!

My only recommendation is tweaking the mod description and title to be slightly more concise.
For ex. "... supercharges each player's starting Settler on turn 1; giving it 6 movement points and revealing all tiles within a 6-radius of it." should be closer to the top.

That's all, thanks so much.

That's certainly an amusing idea. XD

It would be a nice addition to be able to set the movement you want the settler to have. I tweaked my own 'super settler' and put it at 999 moves, so I can just explore a good portion of the map or settle in a completely different location. AI never uses it to move a lot anyway.

I'm really surprised this has relatively few subscribers. It is an amazing mod. Great work.

@Oddity -- that is a great idea for a mod. Does anyone know if there is one similar already? I've never experienced a Heroic Age, and that's partially because I've only ever experienced a Dark Age once, when I played Dramatic Ages. It would be cool to have both those facets of the game much more possible in any given game, without having to play the nerve-racking nature of Dramatic Ages (and the constant rush for era score).
