Atomic bomb sites,disposal sites,and swamps of irrigated sludge all have one thing in common: extremely high levels of radiation.

The location focuses on the crashed remains of a Horizon Airlines plane.In the middle a pool of water has collected,surrounded by makeshift houses, built with pieces of scrap.The elevated slum is moderately irradiated,dosing one with about 6 rads.per second.The six structures are installed on walkways above the crater,the waters of which are highly radiated, peaking at 38 rad per second.The shack to the southeast contains a cooking station,terminal and steam chest with booby traps,and the shack to the north-northeast contains a chemistry station.The location is full of Children of Atom wielding radiation weapons.The terminal controls the two turrets and a spotlight.

La location è incentrata sui resti precipitati di un aereo della Horizon Airlines.Nel mezzo si è raccolta una pozza d'acqua,circondata da case di fortuna,costruite con pezzi di rottame.La baraccopoli elevata è moderatamente irradiata,dosandone una con circa 6 rad al secondo.Le sei strutture sono installate su passerelle sopra il cratere,le cui acque sono altamente irradiate,con un picco di 38 rad al secondo.La baracca a sud-est contiene una stazione di cottura ,terminale e baule di vapore con trappole esplosive,e la baracca a nord-nord-est contiene una stazione di chimica.La posizione è piena di Children of Atom che brandiscono armi a radiazioni.Il terminale controlla le due torrette e un faretto.

Complete and utter desolation in all directions.A perpetual cloud of radiation haze that creates ferocious and toxic storms.The area is fatal to most humans,but is home to deathclaws and radioactive scorpions. This is the epicenter of a nuclear attack centered on what is colloquially known as the Crater of the Atom.

The site consists of two partially buried domed structures to the west and a small control room to the east.The domes contain high levels of radiation,with as many as 40 rads per second in the center. While the northern dome is empty,the southern dome contains a dead Child of Atom with a gamma pistol. The control center contains a switch which,when activated,sets off a brief alarm.An automated voice in the control room announces the impending melting of the reactor in a continuous cycle.

Hugo's Hole is a small area made up of large blocks of marble that form a corridor and living quarters.The entrance is heavily trapped and irradiated (up to 127 rad / s) with a gun turret at the end.Beyond the booby traps there is a very small room containing Hugo himself,who recently died from a 10mm pistol.There is also an Expert Locked Chest and a Chemistry Station.

A disposal site on the southeastern shore of Lake Cochituate,owned by Mass Fusion before the Great War.The lake is now little more than a vast irradiated pool,home to a group of super mutants. The two ponds are highly irradiated,but the lake behind the camp contains normal levels of radiation. Barrels that are not in the water,including those on the trailer,do not emit radiation.Among the irradiated ponds you can see a truck with a trailer full of barrels that were not unloaded before the bombs fell.

Un sito di smaltimento sulla sponda sud-est del Lago di Cochituate,proprietà della Mass Fusion prima della Grande Guerra.Il lago ora è poco più di una vasta pozza irradiata,dimora di un gruppo di super mutanti.I due stagni sono altamente irradiati,ma il lago dietro il campo contiene normali livelli di radiazioni.I barili che non sono nell'acqua,compresi quelli sul rimorchio,non emettono però radiazioni. Tra gli stagni irradiati si può vedere un camion con un rimorchio pieno di barili che non sono stati scaricati prima della caduta delle bombe.

This guide is super comprehensive, and I wish more guides were like it instead of the shitposts people spam these sections with, but why make a guide for this in particular?
It just seems really really specific.
